 Class Descriptions
 
A 60 minute class using barbells and adjustable weights to tone and condition muscles while raising metabolic rate for rapid fat-burning. After an initial warm-up, all the major muscle groups are worked through a series of weight-bearing exercises including squats, presses and lifts. The class finishes will a cool-down and stretch.
  
An intense 30 minute class focusing on the abdominal region. This class is a great way to tone up and strengthen your core section. This class is suitable for beginners through to advanced trainers.
 
Pilates strengthens the muscles that support the spine to bring balance into the body. Pilates helps to realign the spine in order to decrease tension, increase flexibility, and strengthen the body from the inside out.
 
Boxing training utilises traditional and modern applications to teach boxing techniques and improve one's fitness levels. Training consists of focus mitts, shadow boxing, skipping and general cardiovascular and strength training. Training is designed to provide a intense workout in a non-competitive environment. Classes are suitable for beginners and those seeking general fitness and a challenge.
 
A great start-up gentle exercise class with easy to follow, simple moves. Suitable for anyone who hasn't done any exercise in a while. Very low intensity.

Zumba is a fusion of body scultping movements with easy to follow dance steps to the tune of Latin and International music. The routine features aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms.
 
taichi.JPG - small
Tai Chi is an internal style of Chinese Martial Art, stressing the principles of relaxation and yielding both in application and normal life. A non-impact workout, great for relaxation, balnce and clarity.
